Anna Nicole Smith dies

Anna Nicole Smith, the pneumatic blonde whose life played out as an extraordinary tabloid tale — Playboy centerfold, jeans model, bride of an octogenarian oil tycoon, reality-show subject, tragic mother — died Thursday after collapsing at a hotel. She was 39.

She was stricken while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and was rushed to a hospital. Edwina Johnson, chief investigator for the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office, said the cause of death was under investigation and an autopsy would be done on Friday.

‘La Bamba’ star charged in domestic spat

According to police reports, the 44-year-old actor got into an argument with his girlfriend, and it escalated into a physical fight in the early hours of Aug. 11. His girlfriend, who was not identified in court documents, “was pushed and dragged across the house resulting in scrapes to both knees,” City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo said in a statement.

Poor Lou Diamond Phillips, all he is known for is La Bamba. And how old is that film? Sheez I think I was in elementary school when that movie came out.

Acording to IMDb, La Bamba came out in 1987. So that means I was an 8th grader at the time this movie was released. Yet here we are in 2006, and the way to describe Lou Diamond Phillips is “La Bamba Star”?

Jackie Chan admits acting in porn movie

KUNGFU film star Jackie Chan yesterday admitted that he acted in a porn movie 31 years ago, responding to a report revealed by Hong Kong media, Information Times reported today.

“I had to do anything I could to make a living 31 years ago, but I don’t think it’s a big deal, even Marlon Brando used to be exposed in his movies,” Chan said.

“The porn movie at that time was more conservative than the current films,” he said.

Hong Kong netizens tipped local media that Chan was in the porn movie “All in the Family” in 1975, with a porn movie star who was famous at that time.
